As a builder, Matt has won several prestigious awards, specifically for one Bel Air spec home project that was completed in 2008 and sold for $2M over asking price. He has successfully developed luxury spec homes, a shopping center, and multifamily projects. Mr. Skinner is a recognized speaker on market cycles and investment strategies. He enjoys obstacle course racing, hiking, sailing, and competitive combat sports. He is an active member on the board of Triumph Foundation (www.Triumph-Foundation.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with spinal cord injuries triumph over their injury.

Howie Baker
Acquisitions Manager

Howard (Howie) Baker is an Acquisitions Manager for Empire West.  Howie has real estate in his blood, with his father having been a commercial real estate broker in Denver for many years.  Howie worked with his father in Denver and acquired his real estate license prior to becoming a small animal veterinarian. Skip ahead twenty years and Howie, while still practicing veterinary medicine, became a successful passive investor in Los Angeles and Georgia area apartment buildings. 

Since then, now bitten by the real estate bug, while also continuing his practice of veterinary medicine, he invested in additional real estate funds and development projects, and devoted all of his spare time to educating himself in commercial real estate!

After becoming a passive investor in one of Matt Skinner's projects in Phoenix, he made a big life-changing decision and scaled back his veterinary practice to one day a week and has gone full-time into real estate with Empire West!

Bret Lamprey has 14 years experience when it comes to real estate deals and transactions. He was a top producer in the mortgage industry for ten years, helping Veterans lower their monthly mortgage payments and helping them buy their homes. He has been an Asset Manager with Empire West for 4 years.

He has a passion in guiding the correct investors to financial freedom through the best real estate deals around. He enjoys spending time with his son in various sporting activities and is an avid golfer. He is available to answer any questions when it comes to investing in real estate. 

McCammon Scott-Milles

McCammon Scott-Milles has over 20 years of marketing, real estate sales, sales & sales management experience. With her excellent negotiation skills, strong sales aptitude, account management she has helped guide Californian’s to financial freedom through the best real estate transactions for them.

McCammon’s proven ability to manage multiple day to day tasks as well as long term strategic projects, with a focus on quotas, deadlines and closing has been an invaluable asset to all her clients. McCammon’s ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as identify and be highly responsive to clients’ needs has resulted in a career that has helped hundreds of people achieve their financial goals.

As Broker of Record for one of Baja Mexico’s premiere master planned communities over the last 10 years she has overseen international real estate sales and transactions. She has created and implemented marketing strategy to increase brand recognition, lead generation and sales. Maintaining a corporate culture capable of delivering excellent service that creates customer loyalty and promotes referral business, McCammon has a passion for finding the right situation for the right clients and helping them attain success. With her focus on analyzing the real estate market to identify investment opportunities, manage existing properties to ensure maximum return and profitability.

When not at the office, or contributing to social causes that she feels passionately about, McCammon enjoys all the fun that Sunny San Diego has to offer with her husband and two dogs.

Ben Rocca
Asset Manager & Acquisitions Manager

Ben has over 20 years of real estate development experience and a proven track record in all aspects of development with 5,000+ units across California. His specialties identifying urban infill projects ripe for redevelopment, entitlements for ground-up multifamily, affordable, mixed-use, single-family subdivisions, and unique hillside custom spec home developments.

Ben understands how best to evaluate a preliminary site plan, leverage relationships with key government staff, rally community support from stakeholders, and execute to the business plan project timelines. He provides consistent leadership through the entire entitlement process, including negotiations with brokers, sellers, and governmental officials.

Caitlin has spent a decade working in Los Angeles creating and growing a deep and well-rounded knowledge base within the accounting, restaurant, large format printing, club sports and residential Real Estate industries.  

Having joined the team at Empire West, Caitlin is excited to join the force in sharing the good news of passive wealth-building and financial freedom. Her top priority is to ensure our Investor’s utmost satisfaction and to enjoy seeing our happy Investors getting paid!

While Caitlin is on break, you might find her coaching Volleyball or binge watching Shark Tank and The Profit on CNBC.

Jamie Jean Winton
Accountant

Currently serving Dealmaker Enterprises and Matt Skinner in accounting and bookkeeping. Jamie is also the Business Manager of an indie film production company, Sacrificial Pawn Productions, where she is grateful to be able to combine her film theory education from UC Berkeley and her passion for the film arts with her business management expertise.

She is an experienced Controller with a demonstrated history of working in the film production industry, leisure, travel & tourism industry, as well as, construction management. Skilled in Negotiation, Corporate Social Responsibility, Payroll Processing, Human Resources, Client/Guest Satisfaction and Retention, Large Event Planning and Execution, Department/Inter&Intra Departmental Relations/Communications, Cash Flow, Business Oversite and Management.

She has been brought in on many occasions to examine a companies accounting and business practices, assess the failing patterns and produce standards and procedures for new, winning processes that can be enforced. Truthful with business and where the foundational problems and strengths exist. Savvy in forensic accounting and corrections..
